Texas Weather

The weather has been super nasty these last few weeks. It's been really rainy and theres been some flooding. Thank God it hasnt hit us as bad.
The worst was when my Brother in law caught a tornado on camera.!! Scary

Bad Blogger

I am definately the worse blogger in the world. I simply don't keep up. I want to try and blog about everything, considering I don't scrapbook.
Right now we are gettibg ready for our mini honey moon, my hubby and I decided to go ti San Francisco. He's been wanting to visit Alcatraz so since our anniversary is in 2 mnths. Thats what we chose.

We have been doing great at budgeting. We stopped eating out and found that we save $1200 a month by NOT eating out. Crazy!!!

So instead we grill, play in pool and snack or we simply go on wonderful evening drives.
Whatever it ends up being, we always have fun.

Grandpa

I have to say, my girl has the best grandfather in the world. He is so loving and patient. He loves her. And all she simply wants is to relax on her grandpa

Choo Choo

So, my girl has been watching the Mickey Mouse Club House. And on the show they have a mini show called Choo Choo Soul, which has a bunch of kids on a musical train. Since she has started watching it, she is constantly asking us to take her to the "choo choo" So we do. We took her Sunday and she had a blast. She rode train and shared some ice cream with her daddy. She even fed a few birds. So all in all. We had fu. :-D

Cartoon Kids

When we went to Kemah, we decided to get the kids drawn as a cartoon and believe it or not Jade stood still the entire time. It was such a beautiful day.

Breezy Walks

So I started walking again (finally) and I have really enjoyed it. I pack up my mini bag and Jade, the hubby and I head out. The weather is also very beautiful right now. Look at my beautiful view.

Kemah

Today we went to Kemah. The weather was amazing! We rode a few rides and just enjoyed the view.

Jade LOVED riding the train there. She kept telling me "Mommy, choo choo!!" HEHE. Here is a picture of her and Jaylan on that train. They looked so cute!

Attempting to blog once again

It's been about 6 months or so that I have not blogged. I feel bad about this because I always wanted to keep track of Jade's development and all but I have failed LOL. However, it's never too late. So here we go again....

Jade has been a very busy girl. She has been talking up a storm. The funny thing about her is that she only talks when she wants to. LOL. I often brag about her to people and tell them all she does. However, all she does is act like she doesnt know anything! THAT KID!

She knows her ABC's and she can count to 10...all in english and spanish.

Country girl in the City

My girl has always been a bit odd. If I give her a toy in a box ...she prefers the box. I bought her a cute bath for her to enjoy in the bath tub... She prefers my lawn chair outside, getting hosed down :-/. I just dont understand. But as you can see...she loves it.


And in the end, thats all that matters :-)

Here lately Jade gets in these moods where she does not want ANY clothes. So I chase her all over the house and this is how she keeps me from putting a shirt on her :-/.

An evening at the beach

At times we just sit at home and just watch movies and we turn in to a bunch of Couch Potatoes. Not this past weekend...no sir. We decided to go to the beach.

So...we packed our picnic basket with sandwiches, chips and drinks, and just enjoyed the cool water, the relaxing breeze and watched the beautiful sun set.

Jaylan fed the Seagulls. Isnt that just beautiful?

And my girl went for a nice dip all on her own .She was a little scared.

Ok....she was really scared. BIG BROTHER TO THE RESCUE!!!!!! "I got this this....I'm alright."All in all....It was an awesome evening!!

Summer Fun

Since we don't have a pool at home, my hubby decided he was going to go ahead and buy one. Funny thing is, that we ALL enjoy being in that one little pool. Yet we have so much fun!



But, if anyone has fun....it's my girl. <3

Updates

So....this is how we spent out Fall/Winter. We were supposed to get "snow" but all we got was ice. No big deal. Once everything started warming up again, our entire yard was filled with leaves. My baby girl enjoyed them...doesnt she just look so cute?!

I am a bad blogger!

Yes, I know. I am a very bad blogger. Geez! I have been very busy...however, I have decided that I will do my very best to start blogging. I will have a few posts in a minute. :)

Couch Potatoe

Lupe and I have been working on Jades playroom, and what more does a playroom need? Its very own couch! So we bought her a cute princess one and she LOVES it!

So now that Jade is starting to walk, she puts all sorts of things on herself, she found some jingle bells and put it on her ankle!

Wiggle Worm

Jade gets soooo excited when her Tia Alex creeps up on her. Something about Alex growling at her and coming at her...makes her go CRAZZZYYY!! They are too funny!

My Big girl is walking

Jade is getting so big. Man, how time flys! This weekend my honey and I were taking her outside in the grass for her to be able to balance herself better. Isnt she little??!

She's just wild.

I like to take Jade with me everywhere I go. So I had to do some grocery shopping, as I was getting Jade dressed, she was throwing a fit because I was trying to brush her hair. She just wasnt having it. So...I gave up and let her be the free spirit that she is.... Check out that hair!!
She didnt appreciate that I made fun of her :/

Her first steps

Usually on Mondays people ask me "How was your weekend?" and typically I would respond "Ehhh, it was ok...not long enough" or " It was alright, I didnt do anything special".....However, not this weekend. This weekend was diffrent. This weekend was a very exciting and happy weekend, not only for me, but for Jadey Poo as well. This weekend was the beginning of broken lamps, bruises all over the knees and hands. This weekend...my baby took her first real steps.

We were at my moms place and she did it over and over again, and of course like any mother...I got it on video. Ofcourse, after I finished crying and screaming like a baby!! LOL HOW EXCITING!!

Although I dont really look forward to going to work...I sometimes get to catch such a wonderful sunrise. God is so awesome isnt he?

She's such a good assistant!

I have the best babysitter in the entire world...and Jadey Poo seems to think so as well. When I was picking her up from my parents house and I came in and saw this....my boo boo was helping Grandpa wash dishes hehehe

Lazy Sunday

This weekend, we took my hubby to the ER because we thought he broke his ankle. Thank God, it was just a fracture and it will take a few weeks to get better. I hope he gets better soon.

However, while the hubby and I were at the ER, someone else was having a "spa" day with Grandpa....He rolls this thing on her face and she loves it! LOL

So this, is Love... :)

So my mom pulled out an old school toy of mine. Mom said my sister and I used to love it. She pulled out a Pound Puppy...Well, Jade is in love. She smootches this pup any time she can...please see the evidence below.

Yup.....it looks like love to me!
