Getting Ready for the NKOTB concert
Sue (my sister in law) and I have already made plans to go to the NKOTB concert in October. Which means we have been talking about what we should wear. So we decided to wear a NKTOB shirt. So while looking for one, everywhere I looked they were sold out! So, I went and bought some iron on paper....and please take a look at my finished product.
I love it when we're cruising together!
Me, Ma, and my sister have always had this thing that we done for years now. Every Friday or Saturday night we would take a shower, get in our pajamas and get in the car and just drive. We would drive for a couple hours, stop by Sonic or Dairy Queen and get an ice cream and park at Kemah and just watch the boats, or sometimes we would just park at any random place and just talk. We would talk about tons of things, family, future...gossip, just anything that would come to mind we would talk about!
So this Sunday, we decided to take a drive. We had a blast...just being us, and being silly! At one point Ma got in a turning lane and decided she wanted to go straight! Scared the crap out of my sister and I (hence the picture below) LOL.
Then, once we got back to my house, we sat outside and chilled, talked some more then Alex decided she was starving at MIDNIGHT, and went inside my house and made herself a sandwich...
Ma looks mad in this picture but I think I just blinded her

UFO's- MY thoughts
This is a subject, that has always been of interest to me, very little people like to admit that they believe. I on the other hand enjoy speaking of it and discovering more and more about this subject.

AREA 51 -The Groom Lake Base is this top-secret military base located 90 miles north of Las Vegas (which is in Nevada). It's in grid number 51 of the Nevada Test Site, so it's called Area 51. The United States Air Force Flight Test Center controls the base. It's best known for testing exotic aircraft and weapons. The base was created in 1954 as a place to test the secret U-2 spyplane that was used to fly missions over the Soviet Union. Then it started to house the SR-71, A-12 and D-21 drone. The F-117A was tested there, also. In the 1980's the base increased in size, along with the runway (which increased to the present 6 miles). Then, mysterious lights began to appear, and armed guards known as the cammo dudes started patrolling the border. The government closed many viewpoints from which the Area 51 base could be seen. In 1989, a "physicist" named Bob Lazar claimed that he worked at a base south of Area 51 and also claimed that Area 51 was testing extremely advanced aircraft and UFO's they got by trading with the aliens. Since then, Area 51 has been thought to be the test center of captured UFOs because of the lights in the night sky. They have huge signs threatening to kill you if you trespass. WOW, a bit much for something that does not exsist.

M.I.B.- known as the Men In Black. Real men in black encounters have been reported for over 50 years. As with UFO theories, no one knows whether the real men in black are fact or fiction. In 1956, American author Gray Barker published a book on the subject called They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers. With this book, Barker revealed to the world the existence of the real men in black.
The real men in black are claimed to appear after a UFO sighting. They are strange looking men wearing black suits and hats. The real men in black are said to be either very short or very tall and to wear wigs and make-up. They are also said to arrive in either very new or new looking, old style Cadillacs. They claim to be either from the Criminal Intelligence Agency (CIA) or some other secret agency.
The men in black question or interrogate the UFO spotters and threaten them not to reveal anything they have seen. The men then disappear as quickly and mysteriously as they had appeared. Most of the theories regarding the real men in black tend to lean towards alien beings. There have only been 40 documented accounts of encounters.
I truly believe in UFO’s, there is just something about them that intrigue me. They are so mysterious. What do you think??
UFO- any unexplained moving object observed in the sky, esp. one assumed by some observers to be of extraterrestrial origin.
Or better known as Unidentified Flying Object. I have grown up listening to people talk about sightings, even the news. I can be skeptic, but there are too many things that I have read and heard that make it hard not to believe. Lets start.
On 16 July 1969, a United States law was passed called the "Extra-Terrestrial Exposure Law" that made it illegal for the public to come in contact with extra-terrestrials or their vehicles. Why is that?? I mean if they do not exsist then why the law?

Weird Birds.
This isnt a real good picture, but we have these weird huge birds in our neighborhood. They just roam around, I dont know what they are. Do you?
Green Thumb??!!
Since we got the house, I have been in this "I want to plant my own garden" mood, but now the tough part was actually achieving it. I have been growing random flowers, and then I also started planting some veggies. They arent all there yet, but I am working on them. Check them out!
These are my tomatoes

Here is a plant that was given to me but was almost dead, look at it now
And this is what is growing from the tips of their leaves.
BBQ for Two
Saturday morning we woke up and decided we were in the mood to eat some hotdogs. Lupe said we could relax, sit outside, and he would make some for us, they came out so juicy!! I loved them, thanks Baby! By the way, that grill was our first grill together! Awww LOL

Hypochondriac???
So, since I was a little girl, I was always worried about my health! The tiniest things cause me to over react about my health or those that I love. For some reason at times...a few symptoms turn out to be the worst disease in the world to me..lol. I live a happy life, I love my family and friends so I dont think it affects me in any way personal. I decided to take a test online to see how much of a hypochondriac I am...and well, when I was taking the test alot of the things that it was asking me, hit right on the dot! Check it out
My friend and co-worker Gwen, was telling me I remind her of the scared octopus on Finding Nemo, you know the one that inks on herself when she is scared
| Your Hypochondria Rating: | Very High |
| Your rating leaves little doubt that you are a hypochondriac. You are driven to great levels of anxiety over your health concerns. Fearing for your well-being borders on obsession for you. Your next step should be to seek a professional diagnosis and treatment for this condition. A much happier life is waiting for you. The Hypochondria TestHypochondria Symptoms and Treatment | |

Then she tells me that she was looking at my before and after blog about our house...and get this...she painted her house almost exactly the same color...why??? Because she decided to add color to her life. Daring! I commend you Sue for adding color to your life, your life will have a whole new meaning!

This weekend, my good friend Wendy and I decided to meet up on Sunday morning at Ihop to eat breakfast together. We have been planning it for a long while now, but our schedules are really crazy right now.

Ok…so I know it sounds weird but this box had to be wooden!! Well my wonderful friend made me the perfect one! Check it out! THANK YOU WENDY LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

New House!!

Ok guys, I know it has been a while since I have blogged (Sorry Courtney) but I have had a lot on my plate lately. I haven’t even had a chance to sit down and read Harry Potter!! We moved to “The Cave” about a month and half ago, we call it “The Cave” because its so small, but very comfortable and it’s a 2 bedroom apartment and we have a month to month lease and its only $490.00!! You can beat that people!!!
During this time we have been house hunting. Thank God for our realtor who is very patient and so helpful! I don’t know what I would do with out her! We have been with her for 8 months now, and FINALLY we found the one! The house that we have always wanted! LOL.
We have placed our offer and the owner has already signed on it, now we are waiting for the final approval! Keep your fingers crossed people.
I will keep you informed, I have pasted some pictures of the house. Check it out

Child Spirit
SORRY GUYS I HAVENT WRITTEN!! Shame on me huh!! Anywhoo, I will definitely have pictures from this weekend up soon. We had a great weekend surrounded by family and friends. There was just one thing that got to me this weekend, it bothered me a bit, just the thought.
As you know, my husband and I are really into the paranormal. So that night we were at my sister in laws house. My sister in Law has a little 3 yrs old in the house who talks like she was 15 yrs old. VERY SMART!!
So my sister in law mentioned to me about a month ago that her daughter Lani, has a “friend” names Ashla. Who Lani claims comes over to play with her and talk to her. My sister in law at times tells me that Lani will eat only half of her food because she is saving the rest of Ashla. There was an occasion where my niece Lani said that Ashla was sick in the hospital. Claiming this Ashla child got sick while playing with her Grandma. WEIRD!!!
So ...here is what freaked me out….I was in my sister in laws room on my way to the bathroom…when I didn’t know my niece was in the potty…I walk up to the door…and I could hear her talking to Ashla…Now I did NOT hear Ashla…but I could hear Lani asking her questions, it was so weird because my little niece was having a full conversation!
I wonder what she looks like, I wonder if she is a child spirit…what happened to her? Does anyone know where I can find history on the land???
*My sister in law has told me about it, so please keep in mind...I may not be getting some facts right LOL*

Christmas with my Grandpa

I love Christmas time. It is by far my favorite time of the year. However, I just can’t stop thinking of my Grandpa. I guess I get emotional because I don't have family here..well He passed away 6 years ago, and it still feels fresh in my heart. I miss him with every bit of me. I know I will always hurt over this, but I think what does and always will bother me is the fact that I never said goodbye to him. He lived in Mexico, and well my family never really had a lot of money to travel over there very often during the year, so my dad would save up for us to go on Christmas.
I remember when we would go there on Christmas, he was ready to celebrate! He would make sure we had a Christmas tree; there were beautiful gifts under the tree for us. After the whole unwrapping the gifts part, he turn up the music and start dancing with my Grandma!! It was so fun!! I remember he would tell us stories all the time, and he did the best special effects. I remember waking up in the morning to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and tobacco.
Christmas was the best with my Grandpa!!! So when Christmas comes, and he is not around, it bothers me! Even though there were times that we would not go to Mexico, I would always call him and tell him Merry Christmas, he would always tell me he loved me very much, and he would never hang up first. He would wait until I hung up.
I miss him. If anyone was to ever ask me what I want for Christmas, I want just one last hug from him and the opportunity to tell him that I love him and that I am so grateful to God that he gave me the chance to know him even if it wasn’t for a long time. He has left a very large empty spot in my heart that will never be filled.

Scrapbooking
You know, I have been thinking for a while now, I want to start scrapbooking. My only problem is I don’t know where to start, how to go about starting it. I love taking pictures, of family and friends. Everywhere I go I carry my camera with me, I keep all my pictures in an album…but it is just not the same as to scrapbook them. *sigh* I wish I could do it!! I just don’t know

Places I want to visit
So, last night my husband and I were discussing how nice it would be if him and I decided to go on a trip. Of course after we purchase a home. There are several places that we have been wanting to visit. He- for example wants to go to Louisville, KY. I have been to KY. But the reason behind him wanting to go is because the famous Waverly Hills Sanitarium is there. This is considered the most haunted place in the Nation…Would I go…YES!! Would I stay the night there NO!! I would love to do some hunting there. Especially being that we have seen several episodes and actual footage of a ball being pushed and kicked by a child spirit. Would love to experience that!!
Me on the other hand…I would love to go somewhere cold, snowy, romantic. COLORADO is what I am thinking!! I have heard wonders of this place and yet I have never really planned on going. My question is, how would I starts saving for this. We have never traveled out of state since we have been together. He never has, I have been to KY, CA, NY, FL, LA.

We have also wanted to check out Roswell!!! I have actually heard that people are a bit weird there!! Maybe I can see a UFO!!! TEE HEE We will see…
