Evening Routine

I have always suffered from insomnia. Which really sucks because I can go days without sleeping. So, I have tried to make it a point and a habit to go to bed early, which means I have started an evening routine. I feed my Baby Bean and typically shower together (since it's easier for me). We then turn off all the lights and I light a Vanilla/Lavender candle, we turn the A/C down really low, get under our warm covers, sit on my oversized round couch and open the window.
Now, Bean and I get distracted because it seems that our neighbors like to come out at night, and that makes for a really interesting night.
I have to say, this routine has been working ;-)
Cozy spot, awesome view and great company :-)

Trying to connect AGAIN!!!

I know it has been a VERY LONG time since I have actually taken the time to blog.
There has been so much going on. Busy at work and just being a mommy to my Jade. But I also can't forget...spending lots of quality time with my Hubby.
So lets catch up.

We went to San Francisco in September. I have to say...I FREAKING love San Fran!!! It has the most amazing weather. There was alot of fog, but that did not matter. It was so beautiful. The people were really nice. My husband FINALLY scratched 1 thing off of his Bucket list...HE WENT TO ALCATRAZ!!! Here are a few pictures of that

When we first arrived...the transit that they have is pretty cool!
Here we are on the first day...we were kinda tired from the plane ride...but we ended up going to Fishermans Wharf and saw the seals.
PAINTED LADIES!!! MY FAVORITE! They were so beautiful, the park across the street from there was super cute too.

We went on a tour of the city and they took us to this amazing little island called Angel Island. History has it that chinese immigrant during the civil war ended up there. Now, it's a beautiful camp ground. It also smells like Eucalyptus, because mostly all the trees there are Eucalyptus. I loved it. We sat and had some Chili and cornbread.
Here is the entrance of Alcatraz, It was a really interesting place. To just sit there and think..many years ago, criminals roamed that building. It's just amazing.
My wonderful husband decided to wake me up at 4 in the morning. We crossed the Golden Gate bridge and he took me to the Marin Wetlands. This is where you can see all of San Francisco.

Fishermans Wharf had the most amazing seafood!!!! But parking was REALLY expensive! We spent like $400 in just parking for 4 days
Just a little pictur of the city and trolly.  Small Fact....San Francisco is only 7 miles by 7 miles! Cool Right
???!!
We had such an amazing and fun time. We even got lost when we were there HAHAHA! But the fun thing was, we ended up at Coit Tower...the tallest building in San Fran. AMAZING!

Although, I loved San Francisco....One thing I can say is. I left my heart in Texas, and I was so happy to be back with my Baby Bean again.
